I am currently in Iraq working as a convoy fuel truck driver.
When I was hired, part of my issued equipment was a Kevlar Helmet made by your company.

A few days ago I was in a truck that was hit by an IED (Improvised Explosive Device). I wanted to thank your company, because that helmet saved my life.

It caught a rather large fragment from the IED and did not penetrate.
I do have a headache, but it is far better than the alternative.

I will forward a photo of the kevlar to you when I can, but for now please accept my sincere gratitude.
